Gil Brandt loves Eric Washington

While driving home was listening to Sirius NFL radio.  A caller from Charlotte (Brian I think) asked what positions Gil thought the Panthers would target in the draft.  Gil took the opportunity to rave about Washington.  He is very impressed by him and said he has had the opportunity to speak with him at length.  Thought it was significant that defense was not the topic but he went out of his way to  praise Washington.  If Washington lives up to that praise we are in for a treat.

Really anxious to see what form Washington's defense will take.

A year from now we might be talking about Washington leaving for a head coaching job much like McDermott and Wilks.

That would be adfnmirable lol three years in a row Ron's coaching tree would be fully extended quickly in his specialty specifically. Offensively not so much but that doesn't mean much when they look back on your resume and your disciples.
