I dont necessarily agree that Smith would have got more than 5 mil per. He is 29. These other guys getting signed are a good bit younger than Smith and show potential for getting better. Smith at 29 is what he is.

I disagree and think he would have gotten something like a one or two year 8 million dollar deal personally.

I love how these guys get injured once and now they are guys who will never be healthy.  Let's shuffle our promising young guys to the back of the deck to give our reps to a 29 year old receiver who was never very good to begin with and hasn't been so in many years.

To be fair, both of them got hurt twice last year. Byrd broke his forearm early in the season and then hurt his leg late in the season. Samuel missed nearly the entire offseason with an ankle injury then later went on IR due to another ankle injury.

There are definitely durability red flags for both guys.

So, Norwell signed for 13 mil and Allen Robinson for $14 per....

And the Panthers are just sitting here with 19 mil of cap space doing squat....

Cheaping out and saving the money. Need new owners. Our secondary is poo. We need to trade for Darby i mean jesus it's beyond worth it at this point and solves the corner issue for next to nothing. WTF are we going to get with a third round pick besides someone that may have potential or another bradberry?

You seriously think breaking a bone is a red flag for a player?  Repeated hammy pulls and other soft tissue injuries are red flags.  Broken bones are bad luck.  Sorry, but you're wrong.

Man, that Keuchly guy keeps getting concussions.  Definitely an injury risk.

Thomas Davis.  Three ACL tears, cut that guy, can't stay healthy.  Steve Smith?  Broke the same forearm twice, F loser can't stay healthy.  Cuts.

Broken bones are durability issues now?   How do you feel about TD and SS who both suffered broken bones?  Guess they had durability issues also?

Red flags my ass.

I don't know that it ever came out exactly what his "lower leg injury" was. Samuel for sure had repeat soft tissue injuries of his ankle that caused significant missed time.

No, we didn't.  We needed one to be healthy.

And since both Byrd and Samuel have injury issues you need some one who is a little more reliable no? If Byrd and Samuel can stay healthy that just make it that much sweeter and easier on Cam but so far we can’t rely on them to stay healthy. I really hope they can next season though.

Honestly, yeah Kuechly is a substantial injury risk. To deny that is just being willfully ignorant.

TD? Yeah, absolutely he was. He became the first player in NFL history to successfully continue his career after three ACL procedures.

Man, I'm glad we've picked up another Huddler who emotionally overreacts and gets mad as hell. That's exactly what we need. LOL!
