I think if Vick had stayed in college longer he might've hit the 60% mark, but obviously he's an outlier as you mentioned.

Pardon my sanjayesque post, but one name id like to see us make a run at is Tyler Eifert. I’d love to bring him in on a one year prove it type deal. I know he has battled injuries, but a change of scenery and a chance to be mentored by Greg could be a huge thing for him. The hope would be that he balls out and we extend him as Greg rides a super bowl win into the sunset.

This is the type of signing I was hoping for from the Panthers before the Smith deal.

It kind of sucks hearing our rivals Saints/Falcons/Bucs being mentioned as suitors for the big FA's.

I have yet to hear the Panthers name come up as a suitor for the big fish. This could be good or bad. I just hope Hurney is not doing the same ol bargain shopping trend.

I REALLY wanted Robinson, but figured there was no way we would sign him, so my tempered expectations thought of someone up and coming like those two guys with the possibility that they develop into a Sanu / Marvin Jones Jr type of guy with an increased role.

Instead.... Torrey F Smith.

MLB deserved it though.  Football is so much different with a hard cap and (somewhat) manageable contracts.  Baseball is stupid and was LONG overdue for a correction.  Still laughing at what some of those idiots rejected as qualifying offers.... hope those idiots fired their agents. lol
