I read they have 30 mil before Brees deal. How in the hell can they sign him, Graham, and Butler. But we have 30 mil and can't sign no one. I never understand how we are the only team that can't never get anyone. Makes no sense.

It's sarcasm in regards to another tweet in that thread that isn't the one posted here.  Basically saying the Panthers have like 6 holes, and only 18 million in space after rookie contracts.

theoretically there's no reason a team couldn't be up against the cap every year, just like somebody could more or less live their entire life addicted to heroin

assuming you're always hitting on most or all your draft picks and FA signings every single year in the first example and can always afford to cop in the second example everything is great.
