second highest paid kicker in the league.....

Still okay with this on one condition.

If we have the second highest-paid kicker in the league, then when we're in position to try a 50 to 53 yard field goal, we damn well better not be punting.

Gano still has issues hitting clutch kicks and had one over 50 all year long. He wasn't challenged. Also missed XP. But he'd still be more consistent than Bukner or bringing in a rookie.

Hit the game winner is New England. Butker missed a kick in the playoffs. Chiefs lost by 3 points.

How many times did we actually do that last season? I remember the one shortly after half that really pissed Gano off, but other than that I'm not remembering any obvious situations.

Hindsight is 20/20.

Not if you wanted Gano cut last March. And he sure as hell shouldn’t have made it to the season. The only hindsight in this situation is Gano having a good season. Something no one predicted.
