i'm glad someone understands that. those are three development players with a veteran. We don't need another damn developmental receiver.

are you saying Robinson is a developmental receiver? Bc I know you arent including Funchess in there.... what else does he have to do to drop "development"

Saca often replaces words of others with his own words which sometimes greatly exaggerate what was actually reported... But Voth did say it's "realistic" for us bring in a Watkins/Robinson. I'd say that's pretty strong. We shall see what happens.

He does my brother..  He does this so much it is very misleading. He is OD annoying playing with emotions.

Well I hope we win it all this year because we're going to be in rough shape down the road due to Hurney. If we win it all this year though I won't even care.

I say go for it all.  These guys seats are hot af with a new owner coming in. An 8 win season mostlikely gets them fired.

ROBINSON OR WATKINS COME ON BABY

I really see no need for Robinson. I mean he's a good possession guy but we have Funchess who can do everything he can and isn't injury prone. Watkins should be priority #1. Lock him up with a good signing bonus and a back loaded contract.

Watkins is more injury prone than Allen Robinson and Robinson is also more consistent at route running and catching the football than Funchess

My fave 3 for us to sign are:

1. Watkins

2. Allen

3. Moncrief

However, I see at least four WR-needy teams who also are in the top-7 of available cap space......

2. Jets: $90M

4. Bears: $77.5M

6. Colts: $65M

7. 49ers: $59.8M

I hate to burst our bubble, butI have a hard time seeing either of Watkins or AR15 coming here based on the amount of money that those teams can throw at each of them.

That being said, only the 49ers, IMO, offers them a shot at a ring in the next 3 years. Pairing JimmyG with either of them would do wonders for SF. There's also the in-division rivalry between SF and LA that might sway Watkins to play against the team that didn't want him twice a year.

Now, we do offer more than money, for whatever that's worth to these guys. Playing in an offense with Cam Newton, Greg and CMC, with Norv as the OC is a better situation than any of those four teams, so if it's a chance to hoist the Lombardi .... or two over the next 3-5 years, then come to Charlotte. If it's a payday that you want, then we are probably not the place for you. I do think Hurney will give a fair offer to both, but sh1tty teams have to overpay for talent, and I can see this being the case.

I'm more than okay with what's behind door # 3.....5a9ef8e916166_ScreenShot2018-03-02at5_14_08PM.png.4a390a27f4ac6c612566f73fcb409ac9.png

And then draft St. Brown on Day 3 of the draft.

Curious as to what you are basing this on?

Robinson has played in 43 out of a possible 64 games.  For Watkins, its 52 out of 64.

Top WRs this year are basically mid teir WRs any other year. So basically we are basically going to get a role player.

Who are these top receivers any other year?

Seriously, I’m trying to think of the best Freebagent receivers of the last 5 years?

Desean Jackson last year? Who else?

It is not like there are Julio Jones type of receivers hitting the market every year.

at this point i'd rather sign wallace and pick up a wr day 2, barring ridley miraculous falls to us at 24. I'm still holding out hope that sanders becomes available as well.

Sanders? You mean Emmanuel? Had no clue they might cut him in Denver...didn't hear anything about that. I like Moncrief, Richardson, Austin (once he's cut), Wallace....hell I'd even be willing to add Jordan Matthews or take a flier on Kendall Wright on the cheap. Jeff Janis anyone?
