OL Orlando Brown Isn't Considered A First Rounder Anymore. In Fact, Some Say He's A Day 3 Pick Now...

After that combine he can never be considered a bust. Every team knows the risk now. If the Eagles decide to chance it at 32, he’s not a bust. He may have screwed himself but no team can be surprised.

He might be a bust to that teams fans though. I think if you're a First Rounder, and you suck, yeah. You can still be looked at as a bust. But, to be fair, that's really up to that teams staff.

Feel like this happens pretty often. There's one prospect everyone in the media assumes is a first rounder but come draft day they go undrafted

I wouldn't say 1st rounder, but it definitely feels like every year there's a couple of poor saps on "Mel Kiper's big board" that are listed as 3rd rounders and ultimately go undrafted. Us fans see these media "analysts" as being relatively harmless entertainment, but in reality they probably do sway some kids to make some pretty bad decisions. Those kids need to be listening to their coaches with NFL contacts and the NFL advisory boards and not loud mouths like Mel Kiper and Todd McShay.

Athleticism matters in the LT position. Orlando Brown will have to be a considerable outlier when he tested badly in almost every conceivable metric imaginable including drills. I'd rather us take a kid like Isaiah Wynn of Georgia who was a LT asked to convert to G. If Wynn can't make it as a LT you switch him to G which he showed he can do really well in the Senior Bowl. If Orlando Brown can't make it as either LT or RT, it's going to be very difficult for a man his size to switch to an interior position.
