Our GM just let two high profile FA’s of our trenches walk to Franchise a guy that no one even knew was a FA. We are a laughing stock....again. Stop criticizing other GMs in the league when ours sucks worse

Ma'ake Kemoeatu and Damione Lewis were both good signings.

Listen, I'm not exactly excited that Hurney is back either. Far from it. But some of you guys are letting your pure, unbridled Hurney hatred make you lose your damn minds.

Inaccurate. Kemoeatu and Lewis were both good DTs for us. Later, Hurney did let DT fall apart and tried to plug the gap throwing two 3rd rounders at Terrell McClain and Sione Fua and throwing them in the fire as rookies. It didn't exactly work out.

Kind of like Gettleman let CB fall apart and tried to plug the gap throwing a 2nd and 3rd rounder at James Bradberry and Daryl Worley. I'd argue that so far it hasn't exactly worked out.

I think the Hurney hatred has led to delusions of grandeur regarding Gettleman. I think he did a lot more good than bad, but he was far from perfect and no GM will ever come close to perfection.

DG did great job of digging out of MH hellhole. He has money in NY, now we will see how good he is.

And we'll see if MH has learned anything in the radio booth...

Yep, DG really helped us out of a bad situation and if Hurney learned anything I'll honestly be surprised. But I don't try to do revisionist history and act like every move DG made was sheer brilliance and everything Hurney ever did was a total failure. Both of these "team Hurney" and "team Gettleman" camps are borderline ridiculous.
