glad to see this team still doesnt give two shits about protecting Cam. cant wait to see Silatolu get steamrolled by DTs all game next year and have some here wonder why our running game blows.

You know you can't tie up THAT much of the   cap in the Oline, yall just be talking out yall ass.

You gotta build a complete roster, we do have other holes

We sealed his fate when we extended turner instead of norwell, always like and thought norwell was the better of the two.

Glad the days of dumping money and too many resources in particular positions may be over.

Thank you, some one gets it. Turner got paid because he flashed a tad bit earlier and he's two years younger than Norwell.

it comes down to betting on your back ups in situations like this.

This is what got Hurney in trouble last time.  You have to be able to let players walk if the price doesn't fit.   Maybe he has learned from past mistakes.

As bad as he sucked trying to land a descent DT, he better pay Star whatever he wants

We have a serviceable stopgap in Love plus a former 1st rounder who needs more opportunity in Butler. Hate to say it, but letting Star walk is probably the right call unless it's a very team friendly deal.

Was probably JR’s deal to sign Matt Kalil anyways! Sounds like a JR thing! “Put brothers on the line. The fans will drool themselves in love”

yup,  and the writing was on the wall. no way do I blame DG for this one.

we need an owner that "hires people to do the job and let me drink screwdrivers all Sunday afternoon."

I believe the best DT ever drafted or signed by Hurney was Terrell McClain

Hurney pretty much sucked after the 1st round aside from a diamond in the rough here and there. Pretty much if Hurney never drafted that position in the 1st round then his track record drafting that position likely sucks.

Then Gettleman is a very good and willing actor.

This is pure and unsupported speculation. It sounds good but that's literally the only thing that comes close to supporting such a theory.
