REPORT: Andrew Norwell to Giants a "done deal"

Yep, most of us realized when those Turner and Short deals were inked that was pretty much the writing on the wall for Norwell and Star. I'm sure we would've made a push to keep Norwell if he hadn't played his way into being an elite OG and had his free agency align with a weak interior OL class. He got screwed going undrafted, but he lucked out big time in the timing of his free agency and he's going to cash in majorly.

It's crazy that we have to post this week after week.

Norwell was a good one but I personally have a very good feeling about Moton. We can't pay big $$$ to this dude, Trai, and both Kalil's. Daryl is around the corner too and he's already top 10 at his position and still developing. Can't lie, I'll miss that meanstreak though.

Someone explain to me how this is not tampering?

Eh, nothing to see. You would need real quantifiable proof. If the league didn't even so much as investigate the Raiders blatant bypassing of the Rooney Rule, don't expect them to give a poo about something like this.

I just hope Hurney puts the money to use, and we don’t get caught up in this game of worrying about the future with the anticipation of a 3rd round pick for losing him. Need to look towards the future, but you have to live in the present as well.

I remember when the panthers foolishly rescinded the tag from Norman and just sat on that excess money. We could’ve used that to get better.

If it was that easy Gettleman would do it again, instead of throwing money at Norwell.

i’m sure when he does you’ll still be sipping your juicy juice mustering up the brainpower to come up with some other goal post moving quip about his personnel decision making abilities

You lambasting someone else about moving goal posts is too rich for words.

the only direction i’m moving those posts in is closer to marty

i’m basically at the point where i’d be surprised if he can pull off tying his shoes in the morning

Did anyone here actually want Hurney to slide Norwell a blank check?
