It's not that he didn't have any 50+ yarders last season...it's that we are paying him top 5 kicker money and not going for said 50+ yarders.

 

If Ron is too scared to use the tools he is given, then why overpay for that tool to be in the shed?

That's the problem through and through.  Oh, and let's don't forget we are already a top heave salary cap team.

He kicked a 58 yard fg in the playoffs.  That was definitely a clutch kick, even if we lost. If I am not mistaken, that is the second longest fg in the NFL this past year.    I still would rather have kept the rookie, but oh well.
