For the past full month almost every thread where his name is mentioned you stumble in with some form of deep negativity. You even dogged him for cutting Stewart. You blasted me numerous times for doing this with Gettleman, so you're seriously going to play the innocent little angel now? 

I very clearly laid blame on both. Ultimately Hurney made the call to put us where we are right now. Where have I argued otherwise?

yea bc i’m so very focused on hiding the fact that i want hurney run out of town on the next bus. just look at my avatar.

meanwhile you totally don’t have unresolved hatred towards dave gettleman. that’s why you’ve injected his name in discussions more than one occasion today.

The evidence was there in the VERY little opportunity that they gave him that Butker had what it took in direct football competition vs. a hostile opponent.  Gano, as is his wont, made it clear that you couldn't trust him on the long kick.

So what does this organization do?  Why, OF COURSE you keep Gano and just don't let him attempt long kicks!  FUGGING GENIUS!

Well you never saw me photoshopping Dave Gettleman's mug into my avatar just to be edgy and cool. Whatever floats your boat.

Why would his name not show up in this discussion at some point or another? He drafted Butker. He gave Gano his previous extension.

Get back to me when you decide what subject you actually want to talk about. Right now you're just throwing out everything but the kitchen sink.

Like I said in another post. It's no secret Gano is a favorite amongst the staff. Is it mostly from Rivera? Definitely possible. But either way Butker was going to have to play out of his mind to unseat Gano on the depth chart last year.

Gano has a hot wife so there's that.  

Not a fan of giving him a long term deal, he's fresh off of missing a critical 25 yarder in a playoff game and 2017 was truly awful on his end.  2018 was an improvement but we didn't trust him with distance. Yuck.

I disagree.  It is plain as day, Gettleman drafted Butker to replace Gano.  He was young, qualified, and cheap.  Unless he completely choked, he was the guy. 

We could have saved 3.5m.  Dave probably had that earmarked for Norwell or Star.  Now we're stuck paying Gano instead.

Well unless you plan on hopping into a time machine and going full on Marty McFly and somehow stopping DG from getting fired, I think we're gonna have to agree to disagree here because there's no way to know for sure.

that kick was bad but Clay dropping that early touchdown was alot worse imo. That mightof completely swung the game to have a very different outcome.
