Either long-term or tag would be fine, both will be in the $5 million a year range. I told you guys, we are not letting Gano leave, he's simply too damn valuable.

We couldve had a more than servicable kicker for pennys practically if we kept Bukter. Eagles won the Super Bowl with a rookie kicker. and were about to use about 5 mil from a 30 mil cap space for a kicker when we have holes all over the roster lol.

Ill be really disappointed if Hurney made those smart roster cuts just to re-up Gano ,  Norwell , and overpay some backup FA QB

It's like you draft a kicker because you don't want to tie up cap space with a kicker who is not "money" from season-to-season but then you bring in your former crap GM who proceeds to lose the cheap kicker you just drafted in favor of locking up $5MM in cap space for the kicker position.

Brilliant.

I know he was good last year (shank in the playoff game not withstanding) but I'd assume most of us here have a bad feeling whenever he lines up for an important kick above and beyond the normal nerves one has when a big kick is occurring. But, like, here is $5MM.
