Vince Young was a 65% passer in his final season at Texas. That guy had the physical tools to be a successful NFL QB.

Jeff Fisher felt his deficiencies were...elsewhere.

Sadly, Fisher may have been right.  As I recall, there was a story that he took out a loan just to pay for a party.  That's not exactly a mark of solid decision making.

So we can confirm that the Browns are going to take him at number one?

How do you feel about Mayfield?

I'm torn on Mayfield. I think he has the right attitude. I think he's a really accurate passer. Honestly, his size and freelancing ways are the only two things holding me back on him. If he was 6'3" I'd probably be all in.

Bout the only one I want is Teddy.  And please no on bringing Matt Moore back.  :eyeroll:

I want Teddy too,  but I would take Bradford and Taylor (if he's cut)  as consolation prizes.

At least we're looking and not defaulting to the easy position of Joe Webb.  Let's get a real QB.

Rosen not that much better...Josh Allen worse

Rosen also had a brutal offensive line, saw a ton of blitzes and pressure, and had a poor receiving corps that dropped something like 30 + passes on the season. His best target Caleb Wilson was a TE who got hurt and was done for the year early on in the season and Lasley his best receiver was suspended something like 4 total games.

Rosen will be the best QB in this class if he can remain healthy which is a legitimate question after how beat up he was in college largely due in part because of his protection up front and lack of mobility in the pocket. He will need to improve there quickly and I hope he goes to a team that can protect him because his arm, ball placement, and football IQ are special.
