Sub-60% college passers just don't translate to the NFL level unless your name is Michael Vick and as great of an athlete as Jackson is, he ain't Michael Vick.

I wouldn't mind Bradford on a team friendly deal.  I suspect he'll want to start though, and we have so many other needs that any backup we bring in will have to accept that he's a backup and take a deal that reflects that.

I am glad we (possibly) are seeing the light on Anderson.

I'm reminded more of Pat White than Michael Vick.

It was confirmed that teams did indeed ask him to do receiver drills. Jackson claimed that they didn't. Not sure what's to be gained by that. His decision to go without an agent is suspect as well.

NFL teams wanted Pat White to work at receiver for a few years while they developed his quarterback skills. He refused, and effectively derailed his NFL career because of that.

I wonder if Jackson might not follow a similar path.

Knowing Bradford, he's gonna fleece some team into giving him another starting QB contract. Never before has such a marginal player turned his abilities into such an impressive bank account. The guy has made over $1M per start. $1M per TD pass. Over $3M per win. Over $5k per passing yard. Unbelievable. Bradford may not be an elite or even good QB, but the way he and his representatives have handled the business side of his career is straight up teaching class.
