Yards per game for Landry, Robinson, and Watkins according to NFL.com: 63.1, 66.2, and 58.7.

So two of them are elite and one is mediocre?

Let's change it to yards per reception.

Sammy Watkins - 15.2 YPR (https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/sammy-watkins/)

(2016) Allen Robinson - 12.1 YPR (https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/allen-robinson/#/past-year)

Jarvis Landry - 8.8 YPR (https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/jarvis-landry/)

Paints a different story, doesn't it?

Somebody is gonna overpay for Watkins so I have a hard time getting excited over him right now.

Highly likely. If his going price is $10-12M per year, then he can go elsewhere as far as I'm concerned. Of course, with the way NFL contracts are structured, those "averages per year" are often pretty much bullshit. Like, one the surface, Davante Adams got a 4 year/$58M contract that averages $14.5M per year... except no the fug he didn't. The contract is majorly backloaded with cap hits in the $10.5M range the first two years jumping up to $16.5M+ in the final two years. He'll never see those final two years. He'll be released or extended after 2019.
