I like the way u think but we probably will be going dollar general style with WR Mike Wallace. Teams will be offering these guys 13-14 mil and we can't compete with that. Not with all the holes we have to fill.

Nah we definitely can compete.

Watkins is worth the top WR money imo we can give. I hope Hurney tries for Watkins cause he'd definitely help elevate our squad.

Allen Robinson is probably unrealistic given his likely huge market, but Watkins should be a good option imo.

Like I've been saying, the Rams are INSANE if they tag Watkins. The trade was a bust for them. They shouldn't even be willing to offer him market value to re-sign him. The guy just isn't a good fit for their system. Not saying anything bad about him or them, it's just a bad fit.

100 percent agree.

Goff just isn't the best deep passer. Just take a look at this:

Rams should move on, and for our Air Coryell Norv system Watkins is like Bread and Butter with us. Really hope we grab him.

What exactly defines top WR money?  A four year vet with only one season over 1,000 yards, zero double digit TD seasons, and a perpetual attitude problem?  Watkins has disappointed every single year he's been in the league with a glimmer of hope in 2015.  I'm sure he has untapped potential, but you don't give top WR money on potential.

I would GREATLY prefer Robinson 1st, Sammy Watkins 2nd.

But I won't be mad if we sign Wallace AND draft another WR in the first three rounds.

sammy watkins is the cam newton of WRs. In pathetic situations and full potential never realized.

Watkins on a 10-12mil multi year deal for us would be a huge steal.

If the market is $10-12M for both Robinson and Watkins, then I really, REALLY hope we target Robinson. He may be coming off of an ACL, but overall I have a lot more injury concerns with Watkins than I do Robinson. I think he's ended up on IR in three different NFL seasons. Repeat foot/ankle issues.

I can't see giving him big guaranteed money.
