Of course.  I would give him a 4 year deal for $42m and guarantee $25.  I think Norv needs to make the call because he knows what we need.  I saw someone mention Funchess--If we sign AR, signing DF becomes optional.

Man, fug that 3rd round comp pick next year if we can get a good player now to help us THIS season. Robinson has proven he’s more than capable of being a receiver that can be your go to guy. At 10-12 million, there’s no excuse not to make a strong push at acquiring the guy. With the past regime, I wouldn’t have even gotten my hopes up, but I truly believe Hurney can get this done. I hope he does.

I always get a kick out of fans that bitch about not doing anything different but any talk about actually doing something different freaks them out.

I know where we can clear up $2.1M in cap space this year and $4.1M in cap space next year and lose literally nothing. Cut Russell Shepard.

I'm an ARob fan. Wanted him 2014. But the decline in 2016 gives me pause when coupled to the knee injury in 2017.  Some of that 2015 production was in garbage time. I'm not sold to the tune of 12M he isnt another Terrell Pryor right now. But someone will give him 10M plus on a 3 or 4 year deal.

Couldn’t we sign both Paul Richardson and Mike Wallace for $11 mill a year combined? Obviously a healthy ARob is better but he had one really good year...I think I’d rather sign the other 2 guys and call it a day.

Richardson - $7mill

Wallace - $4mill

Fug no, rather use it on the OL & DL.

There is better value in the draft.

This would be the only thing that gives me pause..that there is amazing value in the draft.

But spending it on DL or OL? Who are you talking about...resigning Star and Norwell? Bc that’s likely not happening. What other DL and OL players are you talking about?

Theres a very real chance that we go into next season with THREE total pass catchers with any meaningful NFL experience. Olsen, Funchess, CMC. That’s not even three guys in the WR room. It’s three total. So spending 10-12/year on a guy who would have commanded 14-16 mil/year before his injury...I don’t think that’s a bad deal if his knee checks out. The problem is that I’m not sure anyone is going to be able to give his knee the OK anytime soon.
