Lol. He literally just posted that we wouldn't go after a top tier WR. Someone offers up a WR in a realistic range, and its, oh noes, we keep giving Can poo WRs. Can't make this poo up.

I think he may be a few cards short of a full deck.

Wait some of you would be okay with giving Albert Wilson who has never topped 600 receiving yards 7 million per year?

Yeah they sure will, same people that thought hey Russell Shepherd is going to be awesome when he comes here. Glad we got rid of Ted Ginn. How y'all feel now and that worked out great didn't it.

It'll probably happen. That's why I'd rather give someone of Robinson's caliber $10-12M, still draft another WR in the first three rounds this year, then let Funchess walk instead of giving him $8-10M in an extension.

Sign Robinson and pick up the best WR in the 2nd or 3rd depending on how the board falls. That gives us extra insurance if one of these guys(Robinson,Samuel,Byrd) go down during the season and if we are unable to retain either funchess or Robinson next season.

Kind of what I was thinking. Sign Robinson and still consider taking a WR early and that way we give ourselves some actual depth for once and it gives us flexibility to let Funchess walk next year instead of paying a decent starting WR $8-10M per year. I just think that's nuts. If you can find a truly elite WR lock him up and pay his ass, but this noise of paying 700-800 yard WRs $8-10M is nuts. Just let those guys walk and draft another one.
