Ideas while Recovering/Recommendations

Hey folks,

Long story short--the docs found some bad stuff a few weeks back that I needed to get removed.  Now, I have 11 less inches of colon but luckily they caught the bad stuff stage 1 and no lymph nodes appeared effected/cancerous that could spread.  Got 20+ staples removed yesterday but I'm still on the mend.  

I have another week to figure out what to do before getting back to work....

Looking for:

-PrimeTV/Hulu/HBO/Netflix recommendations

-Movies

-Vinyl to find/buy

-Random purchases

I've found:

Everything Sucks! - New Netflix show, Freaks and Geeks-ish

Disjointed - Netflix dispensary sitcom, cancelled after season 2, pretty funny little show

The Expanse - Firefly elements with some Noir nods.  

Fixer Upper - Watching people in Waco, TX flip homes is weirdly fun to watch

-Bought a new leather lounge chair for the living room

Mindhunters on Netflix was great, only one season but very good.  Story about the origins of the FBI profiling division for serial murderers.

Glad things were caught early, hope you have speedy recovery

@PurityControl I tried Altered Carbon, became disinterested by episode 4/5.  Don't know what it was.

Old HBO series that I liked a lot-

Hung, Togetherness and Getting On. Each only ran 2-3 seasons, so binging is easy.

Sneaky Pete on Prime.  Season two comes out Friday too. 

A lot of people have missed out on that one.

Got to get past the first 2 episodes and then it really starts rolling.  Perfect show to binge.  Prime doesn’t have much IMO but Sneaky Pete....is sneaky good.  Hopefully season 2 will be as good.

I've actually been enjoying Prime over Hulu and Netflix recently.  The movies are good which is a nice plus.
