Unless they can do this without killing the cap or giving up draft capital or FA flexibility it isn't worth it.   We are not one player away.. But dude is a really good at and would be a instant playmaker on this team...

I wonder is there any way we can get him at 12 or 13 mill a year? To me that is reasonable for a talent like Landry. I’d also have no problem parting with a 2nd or 3rd.

at 12 mil id be fine. but i think originally thats what Mia offered and he rejected and countered with 15 mil. so they tagged him to get something out of it. 

Why not tag Norwell and do the same?

Just because a WR picks up junk yards when there team is getting blown out doesn't make them good. Bersin saw more effort from the other team than Landry.

I'd rather get a WR in the draft than allocate resources (trade assets/cap room) to Landry, but then again Hurney and his track record with WRs is kind of frightening.

Maybe he'll pull a Matt Millen and find a Calvin Johnson after so many misses.

I'm interested in making this offense more potent by any means necessary. But potential trades like this make me wary. That being said, the odds of us finding the solution we seek in the draft this year are not very good.
