I wonder is there any way we can get him at 12 or 13 mill a year? To me that is reasonable for a talent like Landry. I’d also have no problem parting with a 2nd or 3rd.

Reports are he wants at least 4 years $58M like Adams got from GB.

Yea he only led the league in receptions and top 5 in receiving TDS with Jay Cutler and Matt Moore throwing him the ball. But haters gonna hate.

Nobody is hating him.  What the common theme is that he's not worth 16 mil a year, which this team can't afford at the moment.

let's overpay a slow slot receiver 17 million dollars because that's the first thing we need -  a guy with no downfield speed.

Now now, don't be a hater with that rational thinking.  It's time for irrational ranting!

I think Sammy Watkins will be our target he fits the bill of what Rivera and Person said a "vet WR with top end speed".

He is also from SC, playing closer to home could play a big part in him signing with us.

Im on the Watkins bandwagon right now.

Terribly unproductive with those receptions though and one year with 9 TDs... even Teddy Ginn topped that in a year. Landry hadn’t topped 5 in his first three years. He’s a solid contributor at wideout but not even close to top 10.

Sammy Watkins, Mike Wallace, and Paul Richardson seem to be the guys who best fit the bill. I'd probably rank them in that order in terms of my personal preference.
