From what I can see so far, we are lucky and here is why (which is why RR said we were "looking for starters"; RR is not a big rookie fan):

1. The draft has some impressive C/Gs--I think we are going to draft a G/C in the first or second round.

2. The RBs crop is deep.  I see a  2nd or 3rd round RB.

3.  The CB crop is not great at the top but deep; another 3rd rounder?

4.  That leads me to believe that we are going S early.

5. Later in the draft (Rounds 5, 6, 7x2) look for developmental T, DE and G, and backup TE.

5. I expect free agency to be a nice place to get WR, DT depth, DE (Peppers),  and a veteran S.

Chubb is the best back for the Panthers, he could actually have a better rookie season than Barkley.

Sure, he could. Barkley is going to go to a really bad football team. He's probably going to be the primary focus of opposing defenses.

I like Chubb, but I wouldn't take him before the 3rd round.

Fast is the ability to get from point A to point B quickly. Compared to most NFL CBs, Worley is not fast. 4.64 in the 40 demonstrates that pretty well. Watching him try to cover NFL WRs demonstrates that pretty well.

Instincts, by definition, are not learned. They're innate.

Contrary to your claims sir, YOU are the person here who has not presented anything to substantiate your claims. Your entire argument has been "he's not slow because I say he's not".

His 4.64,40 would have made him the slowest cb at last year combine and slower than all but one safety so he’s slow

I told you exactly why he's not reacting "fast" enough.  You chose to say that because he didn't run a 40 time to your liking proves he's slow.  Yet his forty time is on par with 90% of DB's so they all must be slow.  Go figure.

You're just flat out wrong. His 40 time is absolutely subpar for an NFL CB. REALLY subpar. The guy just plain is not fast for an NFL CB. It has nothing to do with his reaction time. If he was like Norman with elite instincts and ball skills it could help him make up for his lack of speed for his position, but he doesn't have those things.

IMO, he's a safety that we're playing out of position. And even for a safety, his speed would STILL be subpar.

Believe what you want to believe.  Fortunately our coaches don't agree with you.

The stopwatch doesn't lie.

I'm not sure the coaches love Worley. He was benched awhile for Seymour.  Hurney has talked about the need for more speed at WR and in the secondary.

Now who's lost the debate?  Go back to the kids table and let the adults have a conversation.

The person who refuses to introduce anything to support his opinions and dismisses all information introduced that is contrary to his opinion.

The "debate" has been over for awhile. Now it's time for the victors to enjoy their spoils.

Yes and Hurney sure has a knack for finding fast wr's and db's.  So was Norman so what your point?

Are you being intentionally dense or does it just come naturally? I've stated why I think Norman was able to overcome his athletic shortcomings.
