It's kind of understandable after everything that happened to this team, why Hurney felt the need to come back and tell him in person.

I’d say letting Norman walk damaged the franchise. Look I’m grateful for Gettleman getting us out of cap hell, but his ego has gotten in his way too many times.

I never said he was perfect. Letting Josh walk sucked. But to say Josh walking was "franchise damaging" is a bit of a stretch.

I don't care for Hurney, but that is pretty classy. 

Classy is why he was fired. Did he really need to put the organization on the hook for the bill flying? Unlike his professional travels, the team must operate on a Salary cap.
