Fair enough, but your prior post seemed to indicate that all pizza is gross.

New York Pizza is overrated. Not saying it's bad, but if you think it's special, you're over-rating it. It's fine. And way too greasy for my taste.

All pizza (outside of Frozen pizza, or the affront to the tastes that is Flippin' Pizza here in DC) is pretty much the same. I've had pizza in Italy, Greece, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Alaska, states in between, and even an ill-fated pizza adventure in Cozumel. Not one would I say was some world-class, exemplary example of what pizza "really is." The best pizza I've personally had was at a place called Christian's in Charlottesville, VA, and that was mainly to do with the quality and bountiful quantity of toppings. If you've got a regional preference, I'd say you just live in an area where there's enough pizza places that there are a couple on the higher end of the pizza bell curve. Because I promise you, there are pizza places in Brooklyn right now churning out cheese frisbees a dog wouldn't touch.

The best pizza is cheap pizza.

And when it comes to delivery, I like Domino's because I like the seasoning and garlic butter on the crust.

every corner of the country has some regional food item that people from there claim can only be made correctly if it's within a 50 mile bubble.  as if pizza or burritos or buffalo wings or barbecue or cheesesteaks are the end result of a geologic process that only happens in new york, socal, upstate NY, north carolina, or philadelphia and they have to be mined.  now if we're talking about fresh seafood or something of that nature i'll grant that but otherwise you'd think we were talking about magic.
