I think Kalil is definitely staying for one more season. You don't come out and say "I'm retiring after this season" unless you were given some assurance the team is keeping you on the squad. At least I'd like to think so...haha

No.  And let me share my lack of knowledge with you.  Marty, in the SI  interview, noted that RB is strong and there is quality throughout the rounds.   To me, it would be stupid to draft a RB #1 when you need positions that will be gone by round 3.

Bittersweet. Going to miss Stew. Definitely the most underrated RB in the NFL in his stint here. He still has some juice in him I think. Best of luck to him.

Hurney is definitely taking a running back.

What do you see as the top two or three positions in this draft as you get into the process at the combine?

MH: “I would say running back, throughout the draft. Offensive tackle, offensive line. Guard and tackle, if you’re talking about the deepness of the position. ... I would probably say running back [is strongest] right now."

 

 

Bare in mind successful teams use two running backs before the inevitable knock on McCaffrey/Gettleman.
