@Mr. Scot If you are in such disbelief just ask your sources about what I posted. If they actually exist and aren't something you've conjured up they'll confirm it. At that time you can PM me and I'll accept an apology from you for being such a condescending dick.

Nah. I don't care to PM you.

They're on the board.  I'll leave it up to them what else they want to share.

idk where you got that impression. i’m pro player on a number of things. i agree they should have a right to a player’s association and negotiate a contract and even have agent representation. i agree that they deserve compensation from the league if they have been permanently disabled physically or mentally. i agree that they should even be able to peacefully protest before or after the game.

but nowhere in the CBA does it state that players should be treated with a level of accomodation going beyond the legal requirement of what a team is obligated to  do to process a player’s release. and this emphasis on courtesy serves no purpose but to feed their egos so i don’t support it. at the end of the day, they’re no more gods than you or me. they still poo in a toilet, and they are still mortal.

I agree with you in that they are no different than you or I. You or I would not want to be talked to like Dave Gettleman has apparently talked to numerous players on the team. The leaders of my corporate company company are not a-holes like that.

Both you and aunt b were mighty fast to lap up the diarrhea that ball boy and mhs spewed about Hurney thought weren't you ?  I guess when it fits YOUR narrative its ok to take the word of a disgruntled employee and some guy who knows a guy as gold.

I never said anything about that situation other than make fun of JR.  Please provide proof, but you can't.  You're the type that when losing a debate with say, "Well fvck you!" as a retort.

in what way exactly? i mean i’ll tell you a little story i got while i was working in a certain city, for a certain media company, that hired a certain activist to host a show on their radio platform, where a colleague told me he basically witnessed first hand a conversation an executive was having with said radio host, telling them in no uncertain terms that if they “didn’t cut out the rhetoric” that said executive would “have security drag (show host) out of the fuging building”. the talent was apologetic, the show went on without incident and that person is still there doing their show, so it’s a non-story but it’s a real eye-opener to how things go behind the scenes when nobody is looking.

did gettleman ever say that to one of these players? did they ever get threatened like that? what’s more likely, gettleman being a tyrant or just somebody that wasn’t going to be walked all over like his predecessor, and these players knew there was a new set of rules to play by, and they didn’t like it?

So you posted nothing...

Cool.

Don't have any, but know three or four guys on here who do.

And see, the great thing about them is they can talk about stuff that actually happened rather than making s--t up desperately trying to get attention.

It's very cool.

Interesting edit there.... Why don't you go ahead and tag your supposed sources here so they can get caught up. I'd be very interested to hear from them and see if they can confirm what my source told me. Again, no need to be so angry and condescending. I never even made a thread about it. How many Hurney related threads have you created? Seems to me you might be projecting a little bit with the "desperately trying to get attention" bit. It's ok though man, we all need attention in some fashion. You get yours from the huddle. No hate brother, keep on keepin' on.

Except finding someone who's a perfect balance isn't so easy.

If I'm interviewing a GM, the primary thing for me is gonna be his eye for talent and his ability to build a roster.

Way way waaaay down the list is whether he'll say goodbye to guys with hearts and balloons.

A "perfect balance" is not really even necessary,  but Apparently there are more than a few GMs in the NFL that are tolerable. Gettleman had multiple guys comment on his decidedly unprofessional approach pertaining to the way that he dealt with them when he was showing them the door (and even if not just in general).  It was a unique situation to see players "celebrate" a GM's firing from a personal standpoint. I'm not saying that it hasn't happened, but I just haven't seen it.

So you're going to act like Image conscious JR didn't say poo to Gman after the Gross and Smitty debacle??

So you're going to act like image conscious JR isn't selling the team because of fugin image problems....??

JR is and has always been an out of touch/in his own head type of person. WTF are on about "debacle" literally not 1 single person outside Panther nation cares about that and most IN Panthers nation still don't.

What year did you play in the NFL? You seem to know a lot about it’s effect on team morale.

We had high morale when we resigned a 2-14 team to super contracts and extended Jake. Worked out well. MORALE!

rofl check out these jokers...JR was made for fools like this no wonder it went on for so long and as easily as it did.

Sign two RBs #1 RB money....MORALE!

lol

Smitty tries to fight Cam gets unceremoniously cut after fighting only 3 teammates...shoulda let him beat up 3 more yea? MORALE!
