Sanjay...Moton is a T man.  Please stop.

Lol he is listed as OG , dude can play every single position

Have you not noticed the trend from Panthers drat about drafting players that are versatile and can play multiple roles.

The main reason though is this:

One thing about football is that it's a #'s game, but the DL still makes it even by forcing a Guard or Center to help each other against overpowering DTs.

But if you have a center(Moton) with size, skills, athleticism, & power to take on any DTs & NTs on 1v1 situations this frees up your OGs to do all kind of pulling plays, screens, etc etc giving the offense basically a 12th man on the field.

Taylor Moton brings versatility, value to O-line

"He's a physical, athletic big dude who can probably play anywhere," Pro Bowl right guard Trai Turnericon-article-link.gif said. "We'll see. We'll see. That's interesting."

“This is the time of the year you have to make very hard decisions. You have to be patient,” he said. “You can't have a knee-jerk reaction as far as falling in love with a guy and overspending and hurting your team salary cap-wise.

Stick to this quote of yours Marty and we'll be fine......hopefully lesson learned

you don't think matt's signing had anything to do with ryan begging to play with his brother?

knowing the character of some of the players on this team, ryan probably went above DG's head to creepy daddy JR to get matt signed.

Ah yes, the "JR made him do it" argument.

If this is actually true, DG is no better than Hurney in terms of throwing away our salary cap to preserve a feel good family atmosphere. The mantra for the longest time was Hurney put us in cap hell. So does DG get a pass for this, or are we only reserving selective outrage?
