Has anybody used FuboTV after cutting the cord?

I think the only bad thing for Vue is it's only viewable on the PS4 right?

No it runs on just about all streaming devices.  You just need to download the app.   Channel compare...

Have have an Amazon Fire TV and stick, and 2 Roku 3s and the PS Vue app runs flawlessly on them all.  I hated Sling so I will say that.

SetTV has been awful from people I've heard that used it.

Also, has a BBB rating of "F", so expect trying to deal with any issues from the service.

And, this is an interesting article:

https://flixed.io/set-tv-not-legitimate/

A lot of that stuff was when they first came out.  I will tell you ,  @KillerKat and everyone else,  that Set TV is legit. It's not perfect,  but for $20 per month,  I haven't seen the service that beats it.  The good thing about it is that you can try it out for absolutely free.  I have it, and so do several family members. We aren't  going back. It works best with a new Fire Stick (other than their set top box which is on back order).

Don't  take my word for it.  Try it yourself. As long as it's  around,  I won't be going to any other service.

I will end this by saying that I see any game I want.

Yeah I tried Settv after I cut cable and the HDMI antenna I bought didn’t work. I’ve had it for three months and it’s been just as reliable as TWC was for all those years and about $140 per month cheaper, not to mention every nfl game and nba league pass and every other channel you can think of. It’s a no brainer.

Cable companies have fleeced consumers for years so don’t expect any remorse coming from here.

Tried all except youtube.

Currently using Hulu because in Atlanta it has all the locals ABC, Fox, CBS, NBC.  Got tired of missing on the air broadcast and didn't want to hook up an antena

PSVUE- Best streaming quality in my opinion.  Most expensive as well.  Missing ABC and NBC locally in Atlanta (it varies by where you live).

Sling - most affordable, easier interface if using computer.  Highly watched events stream goes to crap.

Hulu - all the local options.  No NFL network.  Stream during highly watched events is spotty.

DirectTV - Missing I think it was CBS.  Picture quality stream was 2nd best.

well looks like in my area code "27537" CBS, NBC, and Fox are not available for any option in this thread other than settv which I don't wanna get into. fug these major corporations.

Set TV is legit.  I'm telling you.  No, it's not perfect. There is occasional buffering on some channels or movies,  but for the most part it works like a charm.  The only other negative (other than not being quite perfect) is that you won't get local channels on Set TV,  but I do pretty well between getting The Leaf antenna and roughly 35 feet of coax to get my antenna in the "right" spot. I'm telling you,  just try it for free on your phone even.  I set my sister-in-law up (yes,  for some reason I am the go-to tech guy for my family's older generation at least),  and she didn't even wait 15 mins of her 24hr trial before extending it.

This guy is pretty much on the money,  and the service has even improved some since then.

This is how it really works.

Local are huge, Fox - Panthers, CBS - NCAA tourney etc.  But yeah that sucks.

I personally dont care for iptv or apk much.  Too buggy and buffering etc..  Anyway, to each his own.

That Set TV looks nice though.  Ive tried kodi and mobdro and many other apk but the quality wasnt there or just sucked.  Too much work.  Just my 2 cents.

I use Directv Now. Love it.

I had sling and switch to direct tv now a few months ago. Love that I get all the local channels now which sling didn’t provide but hate the interface.

In the end if you are cutting the cord your probably going to have to make some concessions. Just depends what you want. Sling gives you fox sports Souheat for hornets games but not cbs nbc abc etc.

Even if you don't want to mess with an HD antenna for the locals,  I can attest that any game you want to see will be available once it starts to actually broadcast. If nothing is broadcasting,  it just says "no video input." Once the game starts,  it's a go.  There hasn't been ANY game for any sport that I wanted to see that I haven't been able to.  Plus,  if the game is nationally televised,  it's sometimes better just to use the app.

Makes sense, personally Vue has all locals for me but I understand why you would like it.  The options for sports appear to be extensive.  Response on channel loads looks crazy fast and the guide looks good.  I may try it to see and at 20 bucks you cant beat that.  Thanks for the info.

    • yeah. winter backpacking trips were the most miserable and amazing experiences. same with the coldest and snowiest hunting  experiences. i love being in it. makes for incredible memories. the worse it was, the more i ended up loving it. made the greatest memories.  i just want to get out of it afterwards.
    • I forgot about Jackson...definitely elite.  The sad part of your list is that 2 of them were 'there for the taking for the Panthers'.  Rumor has it that Hurney loved Herbert and was vetoed on trying to trade up.  And rumor has it that Frank & McCown wanted Stroud.  I believe both rumors.
    • I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.
