There is speculation from various sources that Mike Mitchell could be on his way out of Pittsburgh.

He would certainly not have a big price tag.

Would you take him over Coleman?

Bringing back Norman and Mitchell would give our defense a huge boost of nasty.

I wouldn't mind having them both.

You have to admit both brought a swagger to this team.  I hated we were still in CAP hell and couldn't keep Mitchell.  You noticed one of the best defensive teams in football snatched him up pretty quickly.  That says alot about Mitchell.

Norman may be a shut down corner or just a gawd damn good system CB.  The good thing is.  It's our system he is good in.   Norman brought swagger to our secondary.

Both would really bring a cockiness that our defense needs.  Luke brings his energy but it isn't the same as what Mitchell and Norman brought to our defense.

Would have no objection if he came cheap.

I still remember his passionate interview on the field after the Dolphins game. That was a great year, fuging pissed the league screwed us in the divisional round.

The reason why (IMO) is because we are soon to lose 2 HUGE pieces to why our Locker room is so great, TD and Ryan.  Bringing guys back with a passion and love for the game like Mitchell and Norman could help keep that culture in our locker room on the right path for the younger guys coming in.  I'd be all in for Mitchell and Norman if the circumstances lined up.  Great 'stop gaps' for both positions and take a position of need almost out of the picture on Draft day if that position is weak this year.
