And FA gets Delhome, Addison, Stephen Davis, Ricky Phroel.

What?? Oh and if Hardy was a bad pick? Why did Gman hamstring a off-season trying to keep him?? He tagged him and gave him 13mil..

At the end of the day, it was a failed player due to his own making. Some players don’t have the skill to make the team, he had skill but not the mentals

This is why I'm hoping Hurney trades for a proven WR instead...or signs a decent guy in FA. Or something. God this draft could get weird.

Tavon Austin...sorry but he is a cheap help.  That and WR in round 2.   Dude in round 1 as a major sleeper is James Daniels Iowa.  He is flat out better than Price.  Its obvious.

But you can't blame the GM for that... Hardy was a 6th round pick Hurney nor Gman are psychologist ... And he was so good before he went crazy.. That Gman sacrificed FA money trying to keep him... Bottom line based on the things Hurney can control when scouting a player. Hurney drafted a all pro DE in the 6th round in Hardy.. Give credit where it's due..

He had the mental to get 13mil out of Gman..

-Getting us out of Cap hell with bargain bin players

-KK, Trai Turner, Daryl Williams, Star, Bradberry, Norwell, McCaffery, Shaq, and Funchess are all quality starters. Jury is still out on the others.

-As far as Free Agents, last year was his first year to be able to do something and at the moment I’m unimpressed.

-Results were 75% of his years were playoffs and 25% of them were Super Bowl appearances.

BUT HE IS GONE SO LET’s move the conversation back to Hurney!

Yeah, you can blame the GM for that. Hardy was available in the 6th round largely due to serious off the field concerns.

Oh and Ginn I've notice how you avoided talking about Hurney getting Jake in FA from the Saints practice squad?? 

Was that a no brainer easy move? Or Jake doesn't count because he sucked??

It was a bad pick! So before everyone claims it was a good pick....It wasn’t. Could have been a good pick! Coulda been an insane Hall of Fame pick, but it was a Sherrod Martin kind of pick. Both sucked and we’re out of the league in 5 years basically, just for different reasons

Jake was one of those lucky moments that had me thinking Hurney was a viable GM for a few years
