Exactly. I don't think he was the worst  GM ever but Scot takes issue if you don't worship the ground Dave walked on.

You'll find that I said if Shula had actually been hired as an offensive coordinator, that would have been a terrible move. Hiring him as a quarterback coach with a couple of additional duties is not so bad. I would have taken that even here.

But regardless of whether Shula is good in his new job or terrible in it, the decision belonged to Pat Shurmur. Same thing if Norv Turner is terrible here. Hurney won't be in to blame for that. Rivera will.

Signing every pending free agent to top of the market contracts played a BIG part in creating the mess that got Hurney fired in the first place.

Your "facts" are no different than anything anybody else could make up. The fact you've had some of the most respected members here tell you that maybe you should take a break should be a sign to you. I get it man, you really liked Gettleman. poo happens though. He wasn't performing up to par and he lost his job over it. At some point you have to either accept it and move on from it or join a Giants message board.
