I think it probably has more to do with the fact that you seem ready to blow a gasket.

No it's just that I'm bored and every discussion with him goes the same way.

Agree or disagree, right or wrong, I enjoy talking about football and learning more about it. He obviously cares more about being right and winning. Not worth the time.

Soooo Wow buddy you win. Your football knowledge eclipses mine or something. I'm gonna go do literally anything else.

Make a quick point.. Question was asked and immedently Scot attacks the question..

Oh please let me answer the question..

Not building on success (causing no back to back winning season) being overly hubris about his talent evaluation skills.. Causing him to think he can change whole position groups in 1 offseason with no down fall..

That's 2 to start with..

Because Hurney felt Dwayne Jarrett could replace him.

It would be funny if it wasn't true.

I don't think it was quite that easy. They had a bunch of young receiver that they thought needed playing time and could fill the void (Jarrett being one of them).

Let be real...Keyshawn was 35 years or so when he was released. I don't think he ever played again after the Panthers released him. Let's not act like letting a 35 year old receiver go (who never played again and was only with the team one year) was a huge reach.

He is right, though. Talking to you gets boring pretty quickly.

At least I won't spend months being a cry baby and acting like a bitch when somebody gets fired..

That's your problem.. You think somebody is trying to win some fictious prize .. I just want you to make a valid argument with out saying dumb poo or contradicting yourself.. Or being so commited to it that you keep doing it over and over.. That's all.. I don't get anything for being me and questioning your opinion...

Oh, the irony :)

Better to spend years screaming over your favorite player getting cut, then?

Let's put facts on the table how many threads did I start or bitch in about cutting Smitty ??

And to be more factual I actually understood why he did it just didn't like the way he did it.

And the only reason we are talking about this now is the fact.. You have such a problem considering Gman and Hurney could have made similar moves (because one you think is God and the other you think is a failure) .. Both cut vet WR abruptly due to there affect in the locker room... This is so earth shattering to you that you have spent some dumbass web of confusion to make Gman move look like the greatest thing ever in your mind... This is what is happening jimbo... You again are defending another Gman move when you really didn't have to...smh

The most telling sign of his obsession is how he has actively championed for Mike Shula once Dave decided to bring his buddy to NY with him. LMAO!!!!

He goes out of his way to defend Gman even when he doesn't have to...

And my biggest problem is.. I didn't like Gman being fired I thought it was a dumb move.. But Gman made mistakes and dam he's been gone almost a year now ... Get over it or move on to a new team.. Don't sit here and bitch about everything and be a Debbie downer all year about it...smh

To be fair Gettis did look legit playing in one of the worst offenses I've ever seen until he got hurt. LaFell was actually pretty good, a great blocker, and actually produced a lot more than Funchess his first two years. Funchess has more yards in his third year, but when you look at their targets Funchess has such a ridiculous amount, with a low catch rate.

I'd say both Hurney and Gettleman had difficulties finding talent at receiver.
