You could have had both .. We lost money cutting smitty we didn't gain poo..  Was 2015 Choctery or Philly better than Smitty??

Philly at times I'd say they were about even when Philly actually remembered how to catch a fugin' ball. Dude was hitting on a ton of cylinders that year. Was murdering Talib in the super bowl.

Cotch nah, but he provided a much better locker room veteran than Steve ever was.

And that's why Steve was cut. Love him or hate him he was more of a problem than what his skills could offer at that point in time.

Show me the graph charts and metrics that say cutting Smitty made us a Superbowl team...

Which is pretty much what Scot has Gettelmen loving spinned his way into saying...

FUN FACT the Ravens only had 1 (one) winning season the three Seasons Steve was on their team.

But you know I'm sure the Ravens were better with him or something.

You need to stop... You are trying to hard to be right when the argument isn't built for you to win..

Listen I'm trying to help you.. Scot is hurt and saying some dumb poo to hide that fact...

There is no metric in the world you can provide that says Cutting Smitty made us a Superbowl team.. This is the dumbass corner Scot has put himself in to defend every Gettltemen move...

At no point in Philly Browns life has he ever been better then Smitty.. Stop typing this dumb poo now..

Again what in the fug does that have to do with anything being discussed here??

They won a Superbowl with Trent Dilfer.. Does that make him better QB than Dan Marino..

I never said cutting Smitty helped us get to the super bowl, nit it's not like keeping Smitty = more wins.

Steve was chasing numbers at that point in his carrer. It's why he postponed his retirement. Twice.

Which I don't blame him. Make your legacy. But the last thing we needed was Steve demanding the ball and hampering the devolpment of our roster. Which you know he did.

And no, I'm not saying Philly > Smitty. But what Philly did for us that season, esp in the playoffs, was crucial.

In any case, you're right. I need to stop. And I will stop. I know the next reply will be [generic insult] [generic talking down tone] and followed by [repeating the same poo slowly.] It's boring.

What would you consider his biggest mistake?

Not upgrading the front office staff because he didn't want to be "that guy".

As I've said many times, Gettleman was cutthroat with players but didn't apply equally tough standards to the people he worked with more directly.

Given that one of his first moves in New York was to fire a personnel guy, my guess would be he now sees that as a mistake too.

Good decision.. The stuff coming out your keypad was demanding it.  Sorry...
