You're all quick to throw the secondary under the bus, but forget that we had someone run for over 215 yards on us tonight. We know how the Bucs felt now. If Kemo is in there tonight, this is a different game. His value to the defense should be apparent right now.

I agree that the soft zone coverages have been a problem - I've been saying that for weeks.

But we did get 3 sacks on Manning. Playing with the defensive line we had tonight is like leaving the secondary hanging out to dry.

Well, I think you should not post after 48 hours then if you dont like a thread like this. The defense's performance tonight was horrible. They deserve all the blame they receive.

PLEASE stop using Kemo as an excuse people. Dear God! If he were out there they still would have ran over our ass. Maybe not 300+ yds but 200 for sure. Kemo is not Superman. They run the ball well just like we do and they proved that tonight. So stop using this Kemo excuse crap. We got whipped on run defense big time. Props to the G-Men. Well there is a big difference between 300 yards and 200 yards. That difference is Wards 60+ run in overtime. That difference if the constant shotgun draw by the giants that worked every time. So ill use him as an excuse if i want. And im very proud of how are team played with out him. But it is not the end of the world.

Ugh, this thread reeks of ignorance. Turgo could not go out there and stop the run. The pass def ran their game plan, it was that fuging draw play from the gun that killed us. Running the ball and stopping the run is all about attitude and they had more. Shut up people acting like you know football talking about zones and soft coverage, yall are just ignorant.

3 sacks isnt enough when the opposing team has the ball for almost 40 minutes and converts 56% of its 3rd downs. Easily the worst defensive performance dating back to last year.

I am also with you on this one. The difference of that 100 yards is a loss for them. I am worried about the Aints game, we suck in domes and we cant seem to beat them when we close our seasons with them on the schedule. I do think we attack hard and we are definitely the better team, the domes kill us. They wont run for 300 on us, but they could throw for it.

Perhaps you also missed one of the best run D's in the NFL (Tampa) turning to Swiss cheese when Simms was forced to start.
