Sign: Walace, Moncrief

Draft: Andrew Miller

Keep: Funchess, Samuel

Ain't too shabby

If you sign 2 FA WR's there is no need in drafting 1.. No need in putting that much capital in that position.. At that point You would have like 3 or 4 WR's under 25 on the roster..

As optimistic as I like to be... Don't kid yourself. Jeffrey made grown man catches all season long, especially in the Superbowl. Funchess gave a half assed effort to catch a pass that could have sent us to the divisional round. Jeffrey is by far the better receiver.

I agree that it wasnt his best attempt but one catch isn't going to define Funchess. He was clutch several times this season and since I can Rembert in the playoffs we've been in. He's younger, faster, more athletic and still hasn't reached his ceiling. Alshon, has. Not saying it's a bad thing for Alshon. He's a great WR. Funchess has shown what he can do and hasn't shown fully what he's capable of just yet.

True, I'm just taking it to the next level for added effect.

To veer slightly OT: This is a weird year though, I really am in the dark on most prospects and may not really be following the pre-draft shenanigans.  They don't seem that solid of a group so getting at least 1 proven FA is critical here.  Not another Shepard/Hackett/etc.

I'm on board with what upstatePanther said on the first page. I don't see CB or WR as a major problem, i think our CBs will be fine given a better scheme and i don't see us being able to get anyone better for a decent price or in the draft. we really need DE.

CB is a major problem because safety is a problem. We need to address one to help the other...DE may be a concern but not top concern...At WR one FA and one draft pick would be huge...love Anthony Miller...

I hate this thread title anyways "following the eagles blueprint..finding our jeffrey and smith" What kind of retarded BS is that?!? If not for the minneapolis miracle the Saints might have won the whole thing, then are we following their blueprint? If one of the many things that went wrong for us didnt in our game against the saints we mightve won the whole thing, i mean, the only blueprint to follow is the eagles had good coaching and play calls.
