These guys aren't mindless drones. They're actual people, with actual personalities, and some of those personalities aren't very good.

The places where we all work likely all have both good people and a--holes. NFL teams aren't immune from that. You want to think they'd all pull together because they're on the same team. That doesn't always happen.

And for whenever people like to talk about us having great locker room chemistry, well, a big reason for that is that we tend not to sign known a--holes.

And most of what we see is the tip of the iceberg / the last straw.  To kick a stellar CB off a college roster (not a great team) suggests that he had to be removed from the environment..  Could he influence younger players?  Probably.  Hats off to the coaches, hats off to the chiefs.

Remember Bill Cowher (I think) said (and I paraphrase): When the headaches surpass the talent level in the NFL, that is when you cut a player.  You are more willing to put up with crap from a great player than you would be someone struggling to make the roster.

We have people who are hoping for Dez Bryant.  Ugh.

We've had Roman Harper and Mike Mitchell. If Peters sees a chance for a championship he may change his tune. A change of environment can always be good. So he's passionate in games. Still would immediately be the best corner on the roster and because of this idea of attitude, he'd come cheaper. Personally, I still want Fuller.

I see your points, but as much as I loved Hardy as a player, I understood the need to let him move on.  The staff has to lead and manage 53 players (about 70 if you count the PS and IR).  I understand Peters is confrontational.  As a coach, you cannot have that--period.  We are a football team, not a rehab center, but if he were to agree to counseling and all recommendations that may coincide with that (such as medication), I would consider a reduced deal/

Fuller would be interesting.

I want to see Worley moved to S.  I want a free agent CB and the draft is pretty solid at CB after the first round grades.

You never know.. i mean Bronco fans probably said the same about Talib before he joined

He's a hot head but helped them win a Super Bowl

Fug Aqib Talib. Peters sounds like a guy who is likely full of himself, but Talib is a complete POS.

The day we signed that guy would be my last day as a Carolina Panthers fan.

Me too. I've been saying it for awhile. IMO, his skillset fits better at safety than it does at CB. He wants to play off and let the play develop in front of him, he struggles on an island, and he's a very sound tackler. Sounds like a safety to me...

Many of us have said it on here--but I have not heard it from RR or anyone else...Maybe they will consider it after the draft and OTAs?  We will see.

    • I think it will be hard to not go edge in the second if we go QB first. Say you have Starks, one of Bond/Egbuka, and maybe one Edge (don't have a name to throw out that is end of 1st round projected and may slide)... do you still go Starks? Just curious. I haven't looked into starks much, as I've been focused on QB, WR, and DL prospects.
