Ya gotta realize that with P55, it doesn't matter how many people report something. If he thinks it's another way, God himself would not convince him otherwise.

I can respect differing opinions but I do like to joke around and hopefully that doesn't get taken out of context, but that guy is just a dickhead. Plain and simple.

Could be like McDaniels when he picked up McCoy as OC a few years back. It will be Shurmur's offense with him calling the shots and shulas job will be to just help install it during the week.

This. He's really just going to be a glorified QB coach. Maybe some extra duties but not play calling. He may be great as a QB coach.

Again you didn't say anything contradicting what I did. Gettleman had his choice in Shurmur but he obviously was okay with Shula or they would have gone with someone else. The GM has his own thoughts and feelings and so does the coach. So they find someone agreeable to both. The same with letting folks go. They each have input but ultimately it has to be someone the GM is okay with that the coach wants. So Shurmur wanted Shula and obviously Gettleman must have felt he was the best choice of who was available. The idea that the GM only can hire the HC and not have input on anyone else is really stupid. Anyone who has worked in industry and business knows this. Why don't you?

Dude, I've already refuted your statements. I'm not really interested if you want to come up with a different way of saying the same thing like your usual MO.

So after Gettleman leaves, Shula not only gets fired too, but follows him?? Makes me think Gettleman was the one holding on to Shula not the other way around.

Again, you're either not reading the thread or just choosing to ignore the facts.
