Could be like McDaniels when he picked up McCoy as OC a few years back. It will be Shurmur's offense with him calling the shots and shulas job will be to just help install it during the week.

Not just different personnel, a whole different system, one he has no experience in.

Especially Gettleman who knows him inside and out and you can guarantee has signed off on the hire or would nix it if he didn't agree.

Gettleman has openly said in the past that he'd never interfere with a head coaching putting together his staff.

Gettleman suggested Rivera fire Shula and Dorsey last year but wouldn't force him.

No it hasn't. Not if you've actually listened to what Gettleman has said about interfering with a coach and his staff in the past.
