Giants hire Mike Shula as OC

The Gettleman jock straps do nothing but worship his okay moves and blame someone else for letting the bad seeds in the front door of the stadium to step on the field.

Of course the GM has the final say on who gets in on the team and can put pressure on coaches to hire his guys and play his players. We saw that play out in Carolina. Yes, a GM can give a coach a longer leash, but that is the GMs decision. The GM can also nix any move the head coach wants to make. Gettleman let Shula through the front door for a second time.

He’s a qb coach and Schumer’s yes man. He won’t be calling any 1st 10 up the gut plays his year. 

Schumer will be calling plays. I’m pretty sure he ain’t putting his head coaching future in shulas oc hands

Yeah, Shula's just going to help implement Shurmur's system and Shurmur's going to call the shots on  game day.  No surprise he was last choice.    This is just as we predicted.

gettleman is not a good gm . what has he done better then majority on the gms in the nfl? he might be better than hurney but hes not a good gm at all

Ha keep dreaming he would not have been hired as OC if he wasn't running the offense. Shula ball is back.
