Giants hire Mike Shula as OC

It's going to be interesting if they have a better offense than we do in the coming season. A guy who coordinated playoff and Superb Owl offenses might not be as bad as we think -- especially since we aren't privy to every bit of information on team performance and capabilities.

He is gonna be a glorified QB coach

are you people noe finally seeing how lousy gettleman was??

He was hired by the head coach. The one everyone here was pissed wasn't our OC or coach.

It's funny watching everyone wiggle around trying to adjust their judgement of everyone.

Honestly, I think we could've done it primarily with play calling. Call some screens and quick slants to get the ball out quicker and then you don't necessarily have to help out Remmers on Miller. You gotta keep the defense off balance.

I'm honestly not sure how much Stew's injury hurt us. He ran the ball 12 times for 29 yards (2.4ypc). One of those runs was for 12 yards, so that means the other 11 went for 17 (0.65ypc). He was by far our least effective runner in that game. Cam had 6 carries for 45 yards (7.5ypc), Fozzy had 4 for 26 (6.5ypc), and Tolbert had 5 for 18 (3.6ypc).

It was probably Philly Brown's injury that hurt us the worst. He was actually our leading receiver in the game when he went down.

Vic Beasley and Von Miller effectiveness against Mike Remmers is what were looking at or let's say discussing.so it's hard to use ypc or yards gained as a measuring stick rather than which RBs on your team can pick up blitzes:block:and able to diagnose disguises

the one loss that year prior to the Superbowl was against Atlanta in which JStew did not play while on the other hand Vic Beasley had a field day.so Denver of course says here's our blueprint to beating the Panthers

and then low and behold what happens JStew was injured in the Superbowl and afterwards you could literally see that Denver defense go into another gear.

however with that said you still have a valid point too and let me add I respect your opinion. but let's be honest Shula needed a healthy JStew or better yet a RT and the blame really falls between bad luck and DG IMO.
