He’s going to get paid a large sum, way more than he should. He’s good, he’s not great. We could afford to resign Norwell and have a few million left over per year. If you are paying Landry close to Julio money, he needs to be Julio not a volume guy who averages 8.8 ypr. I know Antonio Brown is a stud, but he’s one of the guys who’s gotten similar volume and when he did, he averaged 50%, not a typo, more yards on every reception.

I’m pretty sure his QB has nothing to do with the fact they’re scared to throw the ball down field. He’s averaging 100 receptions and 1000 yards since he’s entered the league. Spin it how you want, that type of production ain’t easy to find.

G-man had 2 DT's in one draft and 3 CB in one draft but couldn't pull the trigger on 2 WR in one of the deepest Wr draft in history...Landry was there for the taking ...he should have been ours

It amazes me how a Carolina Panthers fan can say they aren’t interested in a WR as good as Landry while trotting out practice squad wrs.

We need a veteran presence but the huddle is obsessed with drafting a WR. We need a different route. We need Fuller and a safety. Draft the Safety. Sign the wideout. Personally I feel Paul Richardson coming here would be about as useful as Lockett was. Butler was drafted for being unable to re-sign Star. It's not worth breaking the bank for Norwell when we have pressing needs elsewhere.

we have a lot of needs and perceived needs and there are different ways to attack those needs ...we do need a playmaker WR, a starting caliber CB and LT, we need a RB , we need a DE, a TE, a backup QB, at least one Safety... we could let Norwell walk and drop Moton inside ...

I like Landry but i think its easy for some fans  to get excited over drafted players than the possibility of paying big money for a free agent bust

If the Panthers could get Landry for a good deal that would be great

Honestly, probably gotta go all the way back to '01. Our top three picks were Dan Morgan, Kris Jenkins, and Smitty. It's not a coincidence that we were in the Super Bowl shortly thereafter.

I'll argue with you there.

2011. we got a Qb, Sione Fua, Terrell Mcclain, Brandon "Just wait until he comes back from that injury" Hogan, and the great Kealoah Pilares. That's 3 HOFers and maybe even a 4th once Hogan comes back from that injury.

09' and 10' are probably the two worst drafts in NFL history.
