I Honestly Wouldn't Mind Spending This Entire Draft on Defense Picks

That is , provided we get a good WR or even 2 WRs in free agency.  Take this sim for example:

Round 1 Pick 24: Arden Key, DE/OLB, LSU (A)
Round 2 Pick 23: Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest (B+)
Round 3 Pick 21: Armani Watts, FS, Texas AM (A+)
Round 3 Pick 24: Sony Michel, RB, Georgia (A+)
Round 5 Pick 24: Adonis Alexander, CB, Virginia Tech (A+)
Round 6 Pick 23: Trey Marshall, SS, Florida State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 16: John Atkins, DT, Georgia (A+)
Round 7 Pick 24: Michael Hill, DT, Ohio State (A+)

Pretty much have an answer for every defensive issue we had last year draft wise . This is a massive influx of youth on dline and at Saftey we desperately need. And I somehow picked up Sony Michel in the bottom of the 3rd round, who has VERY good burst and a sturdy build to be an all around 3 down back and carry the load while we use CMC more as a WR .  5'11'' 216 lbs. Really I would love Michel, Chubb, or Penny in the 3rd would be perfect.

I know If only it would work out that way. All GMs say BPA but you use the draft to fill holes you have not addressed in FA.

or to desperately reach and overdraft a position of need after stupidly letting your best CB go, and messing up the overall roster talent balance by investing too many picks into the already loaded position groups. Not saying any names lol.

Need is important. Thats why we got CMC and Samuel last year, desperately needed to juice up the offense and we still do lol

Has a team ever just focus on one side of the ball in the draft?

In 2016 draft, Gettleman literally drafted 3 CBS, a DT, and a TE that's never played a down for us and was off the roster by the time the season started. So essentially, an all defense draft.

The problem is he overdrafted at CB, did not take any DEs or Safteys which was moronic in hindsight and theres no suprise we are old and undertalented in those positions today.
