DeMarco Murray?

I'm still not sure why we didn't draft D. Henry 2 years ago.  Would have been a perfect replacement for Stewart and a great compliment to CMC as well.

Marginal if at all, Tennessee was better without him. And you realize after we take a cap hit for cutting Stew and then signing Murray, we would have more money invested in the position than before? Sounds like a great idea.

Him and Stew had similar stats ... So why would we sign him again?? We could just keep Stew or try to get younger at the position..

I think we should draft a rb but ..

if price were the same, Murray has more talent and is such a better receiving threat. That would be the reason to sign him. We wouldn't be stuck with those awful player substitutions like we had last year where we instantly telegraph what we are doing. "Oh, 3rd and 3, they took out mccaffrey and olsen and subbed in Stewart and Armah...hmm I wonder".

That said, I still say No. I could see him going to Indianapolis and having success if Luck is healthy.

 

Anyone want to start threads for Gore, Peterson, Spiller, Charles, or Blount? They are all old and well known, should be a hit!

Actually, I wouldn't mind Blount for the right price. I could see us doing some damage with him and CMC out there. Use CMC to thin out the LBs and let Blount eat. Doubt that happens though.

Marginally but who cares?? The real agenda should be getting cheaper and younger than Stewart not a little bit better.. Draft younger legs with less wear for less money..

I don't care that he is a little better than Stew now.. I want to go younger and cheaper at that position.. That should be the goal.. Not wasting more money on older Rb's..

His dismal performance this year killed my fantasy team. Having said that, if his injuries are healed and the price is right, might be a good one year signing.
