Cheaper & better options.

You really do just have TE videos saved in your favorites don't you?

**pant pant** I am here - Someone mentioned TE? Here is a video, or 3, and a nice microsoft paint drawing I did of a 2 TE set. No really guys, we need a team of 10 TEs on offense with Cam. Unbeatable.

- Sanjay probably

Don't you know we don't have any money. We can't even think about signing the Buffalo and Star. We are totally fugged and even having thoughts of FA is just crazy thoughts. Maybe we might have enough to sign our draft picks. Maybe.

Honestly, with Barnidge having a year off, his stock has dropped dramatically, even though he's still a very competent TE.  Bring him back for cheap.

This seems to be a great option cheap and extremely viable even if we draft one of Sanjay's quality young TE's.

Cost will be same as Dickson but with better all around production.

Fum Reallly dropped off this year and do not want.

Hurst, honestly dont know to much about other than he is older than most of the prospects coming out

Goedert scares me a little because he's a small school prospect

Andrews is nice, but unless we reach and grab him in the 1st we wont get him.

2 guys I like and keeping a eye on leading inti the combine and leading up to draft.

Depending how our offense looks.  If we go to 2 TEs sets where 2 TE heavily involved in the passing game like Chudd

Look for Gesicki- Tall long athletic prospect.  Claims he is going to run in the 4.5s at the combine so that will be big.  Former basketball player.  A guy who will be around in the 3rd

If we run a scheme where the TE2 is a primary blocker role almost like a H-Back in some roles.

Dalton Schultz- damn good blocker who was a big key blocker for CMC and Love at Stanford.  Despite not filling the stat sheet due to offensive scheme. Stanford staff raves about his route running and hands.  Not a bad athlete either.  Walterfootball is starting to catch on saying scouts are saying he is do it all Y type TE similar to Witten

This list is far from complete, but Walter tends to keep up with visits at the combine and bowl games---I can add one that I know met with the Panthers that is not included

Ian Thomas, TE Indiana

Here is the Walter list:

  • Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State (SR%)  Pass catching TE---not a blocker at all.
  • DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Penn State (EW)
  • Micah Kiser, ILB, Virginia (SR)
  • Deadrin Senat, DT, South Florida (EW)
  • David Wells, TE, San Diego State (EW) Blocking TE--had 9 catches his SR year.

nice option here:

Dion Sims - TE - Bears

The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs believes it's "likely" the Bears release TE Dion Sims prior to March 16, when $4 million of Sims' contract becomes guaranteed.

Sims received a "three-year, $18 million" deal from the Bears last offseason that included $10 million guaranteed. He already received $6 million of that in 2017 when Sims caught just 15 balls for 180 yards and one touchdown. Sims is paid too much, even though he's one of the best end-of-the-line pass blockers at his position. He was targeted one or zero times in seven games.
