I believe if I'm not mistaken he's under the impression it will be Hurney.

It's pretty much an educated speculative guess for all these guys at this point. This organization is so dysfunctional anything goes.

Am I the only one who would rather just keep Hurney than rush to hire a random candidate just to avoid the perception of a scandal?

The "anyone but Hurney" crowd have taken it too far, IMO. I'm not saying I wouldn't prefer someone else, but I want someone who is the RIGHT choice, not just the non-Hurney choice.

I don't see any way upper management gets rid of Hurney and hires someone else unless Hurney decides he wants to fall on his sword.  Probably going to at least give him the week end to think it over.

Raye was my favorite choice based on his resume'. I'd be fine with Lake Dawson though.  He's definitely qualified (and hey, cool name).

Jerry Richardson's favorite choice is obviously Marty Hurney, but Richardson doesn't choose people based on actual ability to do the job, soooo...
