non-issue leave it alone and move on. Waste of money to take it down.

He did some bad things, but as far as what he did for Charlotte was greater.

As much as I hate to say it .... I think what he did was wrong but its fair to say throughout the years vast majority of men have done worse.

There is no need to reply regarding yourself as a saint either. IDC. This is my opinion.

A-a person with common sense? What is this sorcery?

One of the statues of Mike McCormack. I'm not positive a lot of Panther fans even remember who that was anymore.

Kinda sad. It’s true.

I miiiiiiighhhht be ok with replacing the JR statue with a big statue of a bo’s sweet tea cup. Just saying.

hey lets keep slaves, there wouldn't even be an americas if it weren't for slavery

This isn’t politics. Let’s keep that in the tinderbox. None of us here haven’t directly been effected positively by the existence of the Panthers.

One thing to consider: Richardson is still the subject of an ongoing league investigation.

What's come out already is pretty damaging, but what if there's more?

If we wind up getting even nastier revelations regarding Richardson, that could tip the scales.

or the opposite....?

Honestly, I kinda quit following this investigation  the moment it happened because it does not do anything good to affect the team going forward. Even if everything is a lie, or there are worse accusations.

The dude is old, it’s high time he left after all the behind the scenes manipulation came out. If we had Gettleman I’m quite sure we would have been a lot closer to if not winning the Superb Owl, last season.

Give TD a statue, keep JR’s statue.

There wouldn’t even be a Panthers, if it wasn’t for him.

To be fair though, given the circumstances, it would be a lot like NBC prominently displaying a photo of Matt Lauer on their website.

My guess is that new ownership is probably going to want to distance themselves from prior scandals.

I don't recall ever hearing about JR acting in an inappropriate way until these recent reports came out.  So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Quote

Old people tend to have diminished capacity for thought control on such lab tests, probably a result frontal lobe degeneration. But here’s the interesting finding, as reported in the October issue of Current Directions in Psychological Science: When von Hippel compared the test results with actual social behavior in the elderly, he found that the only old people who made inappropriate social remarks were those with diminished cognitive capacity. And these people knew their remarks were wrong. They professed egalitarian beliefs, and did not want to be perceived as prejudiced, but they appeared unable to keep themselves from blurting out their unwelcome thoughts.
