My one concern from that clip was I saw what looked like an awful lot of body catching, but given where a lot of the passes were thrown it;s somewhat understandable.  And we're not talking about him as a first rounder.

Yeah, he will need some work. But, he would have been much better if Wimbush were a better passer. He could only throw a fade and even then it was iffy.

I've heard others say that, but really, when he caught the ball in his body, based on ball placement that was the only way he could catch the ball.  I didn't see him body catch any balls that could have been caught just using his hands.  I did also see him make some very good catches with his hands, so I'm not overly concerned.

And I remember Michael Irvin saying a couple of years ago that evaluators worry too much about body catching.  Among other things, he made the point that sometimes you need to body catch to protect the ball and other times it's the only way to catch a pass depending on the placement of the ball by the QB.  That's what I see from St. Brown, not an inability to catch with his hands, just catching the ball where it gets to him.

I'd probably nut.

My pre-Senior Bowl mock for the first 3 rds was:
1. Billy Price, OL, Ohio St
2. Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn St
3. Josh Sweat, DE, Florida St
3. Quin Blanding, S, Virginia

Starting to lean a little more towards James Daniels in the 1st, but it ultimately depends on what happens with Norwell.

But I would love McGlinchey if he's there. I could see Moton moving to LG in that scenario after MKalil is cut following next season. I like Justin Reid a lot as well.

I thought this was one of the better ones I have seen.  It address 3 desparate needs with a WR with our 2nd pick of round 3.  Iam sure there are tons of arguments for different players but OT, Safety and Edge rusher are definite needs.

Round 1 Mike McGlinchy OT Notre Dame

Round 2. Justin Reid Safety Stanford

Round 3a. Hercules Mata'afa EDGE Washington State

Round 3b. Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame

Thoughts

I'd hesitate drafting a T in the first until I knew what Moton was going to be.

3rd round is a Key and Peele skit.

You think a #2 TE is more important than an LT?  You can find a Power RB just about anywhere in the draft and/or free agency.

Lol...so lets just keep ignoring LT...antbody can kick inside but our journey shows hardly anyone can kick outside...

Mata'afa is an odd prospect. Undersized for a 4-3 DE but evidently did his best work at the college level on the inside lined up as a DT. I have no idea what to make of him or any other prospect who is likely going to be asked to play a completely different role at the NFL level than what he's most comfortable with doing at the college level.
