withdraw his name from contention for the GM position.  I think he will get vindicated by the NFL some where down the road, but I think he feels he needs to fall on his sword for the good of the franchise in this case.  Shows you how pathetically pc our society has become when a good man can be brought down simply by allegations from a crazy ex.

It's possible the NFL tells the Panthers the best option is to hire someone else due to the very lengthy investigation that they will conduct. The best thing for everyone would be to move on.

Sucks for Hurn Dog but I'm glad he's gone. We need a fresh start at GM. Give the opportunity to someone else.
