Willy Hernangomez to Charlotte

Nice trade...but if the Cavs take on Dwight or Batum to go with Kemba you can expect a ton of shet coming back (along with that Brooklyn pick- I PRAY!).

For instance:

Kemba and Howard

for

Thomas, Thompson and Shumpert works salary wise and we would cut 3 mill in salary

Still think we might be done shopping and this won't happen but you never know.

please no, guy has one year left on his deal and has no indication he will ever be the same. ugh. hate it for IT but please hornets stay away

They don't have a choice. IT will be gone. If Kemba goes, we're in rebuilding mode anyway. So, IT has to be included. This trade is the most likely scenario. This isn't NBA 2K, where you could just trade good players and get something good in return. We have to get poo back with a Top 10 pick included. Simple as that.

This is more realistic.

Yep that's the trade machine all right.  Wanna post your ingenious trade scenario so we can all be enlightened.

My fault and poo. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ycgk95ts

That's the one that's the most likely. Receiving poo for a good player, pretty much. Maybe we can get another First Rounder from the Cavs as well.

Yeah, I posted a trade similar a few days back.  However...I really would prefer to take Shumpert back instead of JR Smith (although I think his deal has team options coming up).  I'd rather have a extra bit of cap relief.  Anyway, your scenario is legit.

Thank you, sir. You're also legit.

Zach Lowe reported that exact trade as a rumor.. but I don't think Cavs would do it - knowing Lebron is leaving after this year.. why give up the Brooklyn pic when you know you arent beating the Warriors - even with Kemba/Dwight

I hear ya, but if LeBron is leaving then why not go for it this year.  I've heard both sides of the argument but the Cavs with Howard\Batum and Kemba are much better than they are now.  I think the Cavs owner is sick of Lebron's stuff anyway so I agree with you there - I'd keep the pick.

if anything this past year has shown us to have no idea what to expect when it comes to NBA trades so not sure where this lofty position is coming from

DeMarcus Cousins trade for instance. Hell, the Kyrie Irving trade. There ya go. Two perfect examples.

.....exactly? Still not seeing your point here.

I'm not saying Kemba won't get traded, I was imaging a scenario in which he didn't because hopefully Cho is smart enough to not include Kemba unless the Brooklyn pick is on the table (which I don't think it will be)

The only way we trade him is for the Brooklyn pick, was my point. We have to get Draft picks to rebuild once Kemba is gone.
